It was the most amazing day! Our granddaughter, Mackenzie Lynn was born at 5:05 p.m. at 6 lbs 4 oz and 19 1/2 inches long! She's beautiful! She's precious!

Happy New Year 2008!!
This is going to be a fantastic year!! I have such good vibes and looking forward to it. Our first grandchild is due in a couple weeks, which provides so much excitement for us. I hope our Michigan economy picks up so that we all feel more control of our futures financially. It's been a very rough year in Michigan with the loss of jobs which is a foundation for so many things. We began last year with a decision for Mike to stay at Ford Motor and not take the buy-out offered. It's been a good decision for us. I'm glad we didn't have to go thru that again the start of this year. So we start our New Year on the right foot and sure hope it continues that way.
